Mechanical Design Development Engineer - Sheet Metal & Machining (with Jig Development)

As a Mechanical Design Development Engineer specializing in sheet metal and machining, you will be responsible for designing and developing precision sheet metal parts, complex assemblies, and machining components at Lancerfab Tech Pvt. Ltd. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness of the products. Additionally, you will be required to perform reverse engineering, design welding jigs, and develop quality control fixtures for efficient manufacturing processes. Your key responsibilities will include prototyping new components, conducting feasibility studies, creating technical drawings and models, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will also be involved in sourcing materials, conducting tests on prototypes, and providing technical support during product launches. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in product design and development engineering. Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of various materials and manufacturing processes, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
