About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical / CAD Design Engineer who can take physical products from concept to mass production. You’ll design enclosures and internal structures, translate CAD into manufacturable parts, and work directly with tooling vendors to ship reliable consumer hardware at scale.

Ship production-ready mechanical designs that balance form, function, cost, and manufacturability — without surprises at the factory.

What You’ll Own

• Own the full mechanical lifecycle: CAD → DFM → tooling → production
• Design enclosures, internal structures, mounts, and assemblies for consumer electronics
• Prepare and review DFM/DFA for injection-moulded and production-ready parts
• Work directly with tooling vendors and manufacturers to close designs for mass production
• Support EVT, DVT, and PVT builds, including failure analysis and rapid design iteration
• Handle tolerance stack-ups, material selection, part optimization, and surface finishes
• Collaborate closely with electronics, industrial design, and operations teams

Must-Have Skills

• 4–5 years of experience in mechanical / CAD design for consumer electronics
• At least one product taken to mass production (non-negotiable)
• Strong understanding of DFM principles and injection moulding
• Proficiency in SolidWorks / Creo / Fusion 360
• Ability to debug real-world manufacturing issues (warpage, sink marks, tolerance failures)
• Comfortable working directly with vendors, not just sharing drawings
