Role Overview: As a Mechanic for Heavy Commercial Vehicles located near Bengaluru, your role will involve conducting preventive and breakdown maintenance of HCVs such as trucks, trailers, and buses. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in engines, gearboxes, differentials, suspension, steering, and brakes. Routine servicing tasks like oil change, filter replacement, and greasing will also be part of your responsibilities. Using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment, you will replace worn-out or faulty parts. Collaboration with electricians for integrated vehicle issues and ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental guidelines are essential. Additionally, maintaining maintenance logs and submitting service reports will be required.
