Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective MDM test strategies and test cases.

Perform functional, data validation, data quality, and end-to-end integration testing across MDM platforms.

Validate data ingestion, survivorship rules, match & merge logic, and hierarchy management.

Execute test scripts and report defects, working closely with development and business teams for resolution.

Ensure data consistency and accuracy across source systems and MDM hubs.

Validate downstream data consumption and APIs.

Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities.

Collaborate with data stewards, data analysts, and MDM developers to ensure data governance policies are met.

Required Skills:

5 8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in MDM testing.

Strong knowledge of MDM concepts (match/merge, golden record, data stewardship, hierarchy).

Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, TIBCO EBX, or IBM MDM.

Experience in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.

Exposure to ETL/data pipeline testing and working knowledge of data integration tools.

Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or RestAssured.

Experience with Agile methodologies and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).

Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
