MCX Trader

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MCX Trader to execute commodity derivative trades efficiently while managing associated risks. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with MCX trading platforms, excellent execution speed, and a deep understanding of risk management. Collaboration and compliance are also key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities: Execution: Accurately place and execute orders on the MCX platform with speed and precision to capitalize on market opportunities. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to commodity derivatives trading to safeguard the firms assets. Trading Platform Proficiency: Demonstrate expert knowledge and usage of MCXs Trader Workstation (TWS), ODIN, or other relevant trading platforms to maximize trading efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with research, strategy, and operations teams to enhance trading strategies and optimize overall trading performance. Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all trades, performance metrics, and other relevant data using Excel for analysis and internal reporting. Compliance: Ensure all trading activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies. Qualifications: Proven experience as a commodity trader or in a similar role on MCX or related platforms. Strong understanding of commodity derivatives and market risk management. Proficiency in trading software like TWS, ODIN, or equivalents. Advanced skills in Excel and data reporting. Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks related to commodity trading.
