Job Summary: The Regional Operations Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a network of eye hospitals or centers within a defined region. The role ensures operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, clinical compliance, and business growth. This leader plays a pivotal role in strategy implementation, people management, cost optimization, and coordination across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ophthalmic care. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Leadership Manage overall functioning of multiple eye care centers within the assigned region. Ensure smooth and standardized operations across all units. Monitor and improve operational KPIs, including patient flow, OT utilization, turnaround time, and service quality. 2. People Management Lead, mentor, and manage Center Managers and on-ground operational staff. Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance. Identify training needs and facilitate development programs in coordination with HR. 3. Patient Experience & Quality Assurance Ensure delivery of exceptional patient care and services. Implement SOPs for clinical and non-clinical processes in line with NABH or similar standards. Monitor and resolve patient grievances effectively. 4. Business Development & Financial Management Drive revenue growth through operational excellence, cost control, and new service lines. Collaborate with marketing and community outreach teams to increase patient footfall. Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements for each unit. 5. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and accreditation standards (e.g., AERB, NABH, local health regulations). Identify and mitigate operational risks proactively. 6. Strategic Planning Contribute to regional expansion plans, including new center launches, infrastructure upgrades, and strategic partnerships. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and patient feedback to inform regional strategies.
