Matrix Designer

Key Responsibilities: Create detailed and accurate 3D jewelry designs using Matrix / Matrix Gold CAD software . Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams to develop new collections and custom pieces. Translate hand sketches, concept drawings, and verbal ideas into CAD-ready models. Prepare rendered images and technical drawings for client presentations and approvals. Ensure all designs are optimized for manufacturing, including setting styles, stone placement, and metal flow. Work closely with casting, setting, and finishing teams to troubleshoot and refine designs as needed. Maintain organized libraries of design files and update project tracking tools regularly. Knowledge about manual design Sketching. Strong knowledge of diamond and gemstone setting styles, metal types, and jewelry components . Proficiency in Matrix / Matrix Gold , and familiarity with Rhino , ZBrush , or KeyShot is a plus. Ability to interpret sketches and technical instructions with high attention to detail. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including casting, stone setting, and finishing. Experience: Proven experience as a Matrix CAD Designer in the diamond or jewelry industry (2+ years preferred).
