Matlab Simulink Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MATLAB/Simulink Engineer to support for medical device software development. The role involves architecture modeling, requirement engineering, Simulink Model development, RTOS-ready code generation, unit testing, and external code integration aligned with IEC 62304 standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3 to 10 years of experience in embedded software development using MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience in medical device software or safety-critical systems is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture & Requirements Modeling

• Develop software architecture using

  System Composer

• Import and manage requirements from

  Word/DOORS

  using

  Requirements Toolbox®

• Establish traceability links and generate compliance reports (traceability matrix, impact analysis)

2. Simulink Project Development

• Redesign Simulink models for

  RTOS-based code generation

• Configure MATLAB Projects with Git, startup scripts, and folder structures
• Optimize models for performance and stack usage

3. Unit Testing & Verification

• Implement

  MIL/SIL/PIL

  testing workflows using

  Simulink Test

  and

  Design Verifier

• Produce audit-ready documentation using

  Report Generator

4. Code Generation & Analysis

• Generate FreeRTOS-compatible embedded code using

  Embedded Coder

• Perform

  MISRA-C:2012

  compliance checks using

  Polyspace Code Prover & Bug Finder

5. External Code Integration

• Integrate hand-written C modules using

  S-Function Builder
