Maths Teacher

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Grade 1 to 8. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching methodologies, and the ability to make mathematics engaging and understandable for students of different learning levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to simplify concepts for students of varying learning abilities.
• Incorporate activity-based learning, smart-class tools, and real-life examples to enhance understanding.
• Prepare and assess assignments, tests, projects, and examinations to monitor student progress.
• Maintain proper lesson plans, planners, and student performance records.
• Provide individual attention and remedial support to struggling students.
• Encourage students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive, motivating classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, coordinators, and colleagues regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Mathematics / Education (B.Ed. preferred).
• Proven teaching experience in primary and middle school (Grade 1–8).
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts, pedagogy, and curriculum design.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology, smart boards, and digital tools.
• Patience, adaptability, and passion for teaching young learners.
