Maths Foundation Teacher

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Foundation Teacher to build strong conceptual clarity in mathematics for students of Classes VI–X, preparing them for school exams as well as laying a solid base for competitive examinations like JEE/NEET/Foundation Olympiads. The teacher will be responsible for simplifying concepts, developing problem-solving ability, and motivating students towards logical and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics for Foundation batches (Classes VI–X) in line with NCERT and competitive exam requirements.
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans, practice sheets, and assessments.
• Develop conceptual understanding, speed, and accuracy in problem solving.
• Prepare students for Olympiads, NTSE, and basic JEE/NEET-level foundation programs.
• Monitor student progress and provide individual guidance/remediation.
• Coordinate with academic heads to align teaching with institutional goals.
• Motivate and mentor students to develop interest and confidence in Mathematics.
• Maintain academic discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Tech).
• B.Ed. preferred (not mandatory if having strong subject knowledge).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Foundation/School/Coaching preferred.
• Strong conceptual knowledge of Mathematics (Classes VI–X level).

Key Skills Required

• Ability to explain concepts in a simplified and engaging manner.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
• Familiarity with Olympiad/NTSE/Foundation/JEE basics is an added advantage.
• Patience, adaptability, and motivational teaching style.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
