Mathematics Teacher

Location: Near Vidhan Sabha, Raipur

Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, highly skilled, and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, a proven ability to engage students of varying abilities, and a commitment to creating a supportive and challenging learning environment. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a love for mathematics, and preparing students for future academic and professional success.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction and Curriculum:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across various grade levels of primary and middle school (mainly Class 3- Class 8)
• Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with national/state standards (CBSE, CGBSE State Board).
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Integrate technology and real-world applications into mathematics instruction to enhance student understanding and engagement.
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions as needed.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including board examinations and competitive tests.

Classroom Management:

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Establish clear expectations for student behavior and academic performance.
• Manage classroom resources effectively.

Student Support and Development:

• Monitor student academic progress and well-being, providing individual support and guidance when necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to address student needs and promote their overall development.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset in students.

Professional Development and Collaboration:

• Actively participate in departmental meetings, school-wide initiatives, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall educational experience.
• Stay updated with the latest educational trends, teaching methodologies, and mathematical advancements.
• Contribute to the positive culture and community of the school.

Parent Communication:

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, academic performance, and any concerns.
• Attend parent-teacher conferences and school events as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field.
• Master's degree in Mathematics or Education (preferred).
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience:

• Freshers or Minimum of 1 year of demonstrable experience teaching Mathematics at the school level.
• Experience with CGBSE OR CBSE board syllabus is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of improving student performance and engagement.

• Excellent command of mathematical concepts and strong pedagogical skills.
