Description

The Material Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all materials used in production meet the required quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting results, and collaborating with suppliers to address any material issues.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports for management.
Identify defects and non-conformities in materials, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to resolve material issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and ensure proper documentation is in place for audits.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in material inspection or quality control.
Strong knowledge of material specifications and quality standards.
Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
