Job Description

The Senior Product Specialist in ISG will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the Markit EDM platform to enhance data management processes. With 8 to 10 years of experience, you will ensure seamless integration and functionality of the platform, contributing to the company's data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires working from the office during day shifts with no travel obligations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Markit EDM platform to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. Providing technical expertise and guidance in the configuration and customization of the Markit EDM system will be essential. Additionally, you will analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that can drive business strategies and develop test plans to validate system functionality and performance. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the Markit EDM platform to minimize downtime and disruptions will also be part of your role. Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures to protect sensitive information, monitoring system performance, and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience are crucial aspects of this position. You will be responsible for training and supporting end-users to maximize the utilization of the Markit EDM platform and documenting processes and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference. Participation in strategic planning sessions to align technology solutions with business objectives and contribution to the continuous improvement of data management practices within the organization are also expected. Furthermore, driving innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance data management capabilities will be key. Qualifications: - Possess strong expertise in Markit EDM with proven experience in system configuration and customization. - Demonstrate excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. - Exhibit proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly. - Show the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. - Have experience in developing and executing test plans to ensure system reliability. - Display knowledge of data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance. - Present strong communication skills to train and support end-users effectively.
