Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketplace Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and optimizing product listings across online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart, with a strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central. This role will contribute to increasing product visibility, driving sales, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of marketplace activities. The Marketplace Executive will play a key role in the success of our e-commerce business and be an essential part of a fast-paced, results-driven team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Product Listing Optimization & Management:

    • Create, update, and manage accurate product listings (Title, Bullet Points, Image, Prices, Category, Keywords, Promotions, etc.) across multiple platforms (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.).
    • Ensure all listings are error-free, optimized for visibility, and aligned with marketplace standards to improve conversion rates.
  2. Amazon PPC Campaigns:

    • Create and manage Amazon PPC campaigns to drive traffic and increase product sales.
    • Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of PPC campaigns and adjust strategies to maximize ROI and ad spend efficiency.
  3. Inventory Management:

    • Continuously monitor product inventory levels to ensure timely restocking and prevent stockouts.
    • Work with the team to ensure optimal inventory turnover and maintain smooth sales operations.
  4. Sales Growth & Opportunity Identification:

    • Continuously look for opportunities to improve sales by optimizing listings, running promotions, and refining marketing strategies.
    • Take ownership of tasks and execute them end-to-end to contribute to sales growth.
  5. Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Use strong Excel skills to analyze product performance, track key metrics, and generate reports for internal teams.
    • Track sales trends, identify areas for improvement, and suggest actionable insights to increase efficiency.
  6. Marketplace Knowledge & Algorithm Understanding:

    • Leverage your strong understanding of Amazons marketplace algorithms to ensure listings are ranked well and are discoverable to target customers.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices related to marketplace management.
  7. Team Collaboration & Support:

    • Assist the team with various tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to team goals.
    • Be available to work as per task requirements, including during US hours when needed.
  8. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all product listings are error-free and up to date, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
  9. Customer Focused:

    • Monitor customer feedback and product reviews to identify opportunities for improvement in listings and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Marketplace Expertise:

    Proven experience managing listings on Amazon Seller Central and other online marketplaces such as eBay and Walmart.
  • PPC Campaign Management:

    Knowledge and experience in managing Amazon PPC campaigns to drive product visibility and sales.
  • Data Analysis & Excel Proficiency:

    Strong Excel skills for analyzing data, tracking performance metrics, and reporting insights.
  • Attention to Detail:

    Ability to ensure that product listings are accurate, error-free, and optimized for better visibility and higher conversion rates.
  • Strong Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
  • Time Management:

    Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Sales Mindset:

    Proactive approach to identifying and implementing strategies that drive sales growth and improve performance.

Qualifications required:

  • Graduation is essential, Additional qualifications related to e-commerce or digital marketing are a plus.
  • Prior experience in an e-commerce, digital marketing, or marketplace management role.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and product listing optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
