Marketing Research Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Gather both primary and secondary research data through surveys, interviews, and focus groups on consumer behavior, competitor strategies, and market trends to understand & position product success.

2. Use statistical analysis and analytics software to identify patterns, evaluate market conditions, and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

3. Translate complex data into clear, strategic insights that help findings and recommendations to marketing teams, management, and other stakeholders, ensuring that complex ideas are understood.

4. Create reports, presentations & collaborate well within teams and manage relationships with different business units.

Essential Competencies/Skills:

1. Ability to evaluate large datasets, interpret complex market information, and extract actionable insights.

2. A deep understanding of marketing strategies & consumer behavior to help shape products and marketing efforts.

3. Expertise in data analytics, visualization, surveys etc in applying statistical methods using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Python, and Excel to identify trends, outliers, and market opportunities.

4. Ability to create concise, insightful reports and recommendations for clients or internal stakeholders.

5. Effectively share findings in meetings, using visuals and storytelling to clarify implications for business strategy.
