Marketing & Outreach Intern

Open Blood is India’s first open-source digital blood donation platform.

We’re building infrastructure that helps blood banks manage donors, verify records, and send out emergency alerts with ease and speed.

Open Blood is backed by Emergent Ventures and gradCapital, and we're already working with hospitals to expand the network.

This internship is perfect for you if you care about real-world impact, good design, and large scale infrastructure. It is remote, will last 3-6 months (or more), and is paid.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to blood banks, NGOs, and community orgs about joining Open Blood
• Help craft and run marketing campaigns (social, digital, on-ground)
• Manage our WhatsApp Business account and donor communication flow
• Experiment with new outreach ideas

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communicator, both written and verbal
• Comfortable talking to organizations and building relationships
• Creative thinker who can simplify complex ideas
• Bonus: experience with WhatsApp Business, social media, design tools, or campaign management
• Above all: scrappy, curious, and willing to learn by doing
