The Safe Room is a Mental health organization dedicated to providing Trauma-informed, Queer Affirmative and holistic care. Rooted in safety, we support our clients in fostering a sense of security both within and beyond our sessions, guiding them on their healing journeys.

Role Description

This is a remote, part time role for an Intern. The Intern will be responsible for providing general support to the team, assisting with research tasks, organizing and maintaining records, and bring in new initiatives to work. The primary role would be to assist with marketing through knowledge of Google Analytics, Social media marketing.

Additional responsibilities include helping with event planning and engaging in various on-site activities designed to enhance client experiences.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program with Marketing or Psychology.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics.
• Creativity and eye for Aesthetics.
• Proficiency in creating digital media for marketing purposes in programs like Canva.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
