1. Role Objective

To strengthen the company’s market presence, generate high-quality leads, and support the sales team through targeted marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, and communication strategies.
The role ensures consistent branding, effective communication, and strong funnel generation for automation and digitalization solutions in the Pharma (API & Bulk Drug) and Chemical industries.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  1. Develop and execute quarterly and annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  2. Identify market segments and positioning strategies for automation, instrumentation, and validation solutions.
  3. Collaborate with the Business Head and Sales teams to align marketing campaigns with sales targets and product priorities.
  4. Track campaign performance and ROI using data analytics and CRM dashboards.

B. Market Research & Analysis

  1. Conduct market mapping for pharma and chemical automation sectors.
  2. Track competitor activities (solutions offered, pricing trends, client acquisitions, digital presence).
  3. Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and product gaps.
  4. Maintain a structured database of potential customers and market insights in Zoho CRM.

C. Lead Generation & Digital Marketing

  1. Plan and execute digital campaigns (email marketing, LinkedIn posts, SEO, paid promotions).
  2. Coordinate with agencies for design and execution of creative materials (brochures, case studies, videos).
  3. Manage and track lead generation activities – webinars, newsletters, exhibitions, trade portals.
  4. Qualify and assign leads to Inside Sales / Field Sales for follow-up in Zoho CRM.
  5. Measure lead conversion performance and submit monthly reports to management.

D. Branding & Communication

  1. Ensure brand consistency across all communication materials, proposals, and presentations.
  2. Prepare marketing collaterals: datasheets, product leaflets, technical blogs, and industry newsletters.
  3. Coordinate participation in exhibitions, technical seminars, and pharma automation events.
  4. Manage website updates and social media engagement to promote automation capabilities.
  5. Build internal and client-facing communication templates (emails, posters, PPTs, banners).

E. Sales Support & Coordination

  1. Provide pre-sales support to Inside Sales and Field Sales teams with updated content and references.
  2. Maintain centralized repository of marketing materials in OneDrive / CRM shared folder.
  3. Create dashboards and trackers for marketing campaign performance and funnel movement.
  4. Support preparation of case studies, project references, and presentation decks for client meetings.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Marketing Skills

  • Knowledge of Industrial Automation (PLC, SCADA, DCS, IIoT, MES, Validation, Instrumentation).
  • Understanding of pharma compliance frameworks – GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP.
  • Digital marketing tools (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, SEO/SEM).
  • CRM proficiency (Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI preferred).
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills.

B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics OR MBA in Marketing / Business Development

Experience

2–7 years in B2B Industrial / Automation Marketing (Pharma or Process Industry preferred)
