Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Communicate and coordinate with shipping lines to obtain competitive ocean freight rates and surcharges.
Prepare and update quotation sheets for internal sales and operation teams.
Monitor market trends, freight fluctuations, and carrier updates to ensure accurate rate information.
Support sales team with timely rate proposals for USA and other trade lanes.
Maintain strong relationships with carriers and NVOCCs to secure space and rate advantages.
Handle and clarify small local charges (THC, Documentation, Handling, etc.) when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Minimum
3 years of experience
in ocean freight pricing, carrier relations, or shipping line coordination.
Strong knowledge of freight structures, surcharges, and USA trade lane operations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to deal with carriers and vendors.
Proficiency in MS Excel and rate filing tools.
Team-oriented, detail-minded, and able to work under pressure.
Bachelors degree preferred; logistics/shipping background is an advantage.
