Marketing Designer

Role Overview: You will be joining the CNET Group Design Team as a Marketing Designer, focusing on collaborating on the design and management of digital advertising and rich media creative for flagship brands like CNET, ZDNET, Mashable, PCMag, Lifehacker, and more, as well as clients. Your role will involve working closely with various teams within the organization to ensure high-quality visual ad experiences are created and production processes are streamlined. You will report to the Team Lead, Revenue Product Marketing and be part of the Revenue Product squad. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate on projects at various stages to deliver quality design solutions while showcasing a range of skills from project management to time management. - Raise the quality bar by creating visually compelling creative within brand guidelines and managing the digital ads production process and assets. - Create custom rich media display advertising units for global brands to run on CNET Group properties and network sites. - Translate User Experience principles into creative that resonates with users and enhances the overall product experience. - Prepare finished creative for deployment through various channels and contribute to the development of new ad products, templates, and formats. - Assist in general team collateral and other creative projects as required. Qualifications: - 3+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer. - Demonstrated expertise in visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color. - Understanding of user-centered design methodologies. - Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. - Familiarity with tools like Asana and Google Ad Manager. - Comfortable with tight deadlines and managing multiple assignments. - Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and excellent relationship management skills. - Capability to create animated gifs and motion graphics.
