Job Summary/Your Role in a Nutshell:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Campaign Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in campaign execution, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SMS/EDM development, and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have deep experience managing end-to-end marketing automation activities, including building journeys, executing BAU and ad-hoc campaigns, implementing dynamic content, and ensuring high-quality QA across multiple brands.

This role requires a strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, SFMC architecture, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with tight campaign timelines.

What youll do:

  • Build, execute, and manage EDM and SMS campaigns using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Translate marketing briefs into executable SFMC workflows and campaigns.
  • Work on audience segmentation, filters, exclusions, and data extensions.
  • Build and enhance SFMC journeys, including entry criteria, decision splits, wait steps, exit rules, and personalization.
  • Apply and update brand templates across multiple journeys and campaigns.
  • Coordinate closely with marketing, brand managers, QA teams, and content owners to ensure timely and accurate campaign deployment.
  • Manage full QA cycles, including rendering checks, seed testing, link validation, and data validation.
  • Support ad-hoc and recurring reporting, leveraging SFMC analytics and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues, segment issues, and content rendering challenges.
  • Optimize journeys and campaigns for improved engagement, conversion, and deliverability.
  • Work with built-in workflow approvals, documentation, and versioning processes
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, anti-spam, brand standards, and SFMC governance practices.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve platform issues, data extension updates, or automation errors.
  • Maintain best practices documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of SFMC workflows.
  • Participate in requirement discussions, planning meetings, and campaign review cycles.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Email Studio
    • Mobile Studio (SMS)
    • Journey Builder
    • Automation Studio
    • Contact Builder & Data Extensions
  • Good understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and campaign operations.
  • Experience working with datasets, segmentation, filters, queries, and subscriber management.
  • Working knowledge of AMPscript for personalization and dynamic content.
  • Strong understanding of SFMC QA processes and campaign governance.
  • Ability to manage multiple BAU and ad-hoc requirements in parallel.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail, structured approach, and adherence to established processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to journeys, content, audience logic, and deliverability.

  • Experience supporting multi-brand SFMC operations in high-volume environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL for advanced segmentation and data manipulation.
  • Experience with marketing automation, performance reporting and insights.
  • Certification(s):
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist

    • SFMC Administrator

    • SFMC Developer (nice to have)

  • Primary Skills: SFMC (must-have), Marketo (good to have)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Experience working with global teams and multiple time zones.
