About the Role
reach52 is seeking a Strategy Insights Intern that would support reach52 s mission to improve access to healthcare for 52% of the world, who currently cannot access it. You will work to build market intelligence packs that shape our commercial strategies and implementation for our products in India.
You should have a strong knowledge of the domestic healthcare sector and experience analysing healthcare data and building strategies to address gaps in access, portfolio selection or coverage. Direct experience in the pharmaceutical sector will be a plus but core consulting skills in research, PowerPoint and Excel models are essential. As the business grows, you will be central to accelerating progress in driving access. Innovative thinking and willingness to try new approaches will be key.
What You ll Do
The core role scope and responsibilities of the role will be:
- Therapy-focused market intelligence research, analysing current trends and access gaps.
- Build structured slide decks: market size, segmentation, policy and reimbursement, pricing, competitive landscape, channel mapping and supply chain flows.
- Develop country profiles covering access pathways, procurement mechanisms, registration status, and key buyers.
- Standardize templates, storylines, and visual frameworks to ensure consistent, insight-led deliverables.
- Synthesize insights into visual briefs for BD and market access initiatives.
- Plan and execute primary research: stakeholder calls, expert interviews and surveys
- Collect and clean data from public sources: MOH portals, EMLs/NEMLs, DHS/HMIS, WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, Global Fund, procurement/tender portals, and donor reports.
- Support a range of ad-hoc strategic projects as required.
Who You Are
- Undergraduate or graduate student in in a field such as public health, pharmacy, life sciences, economics, or business.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills. Experience with charts, pivots and data cleaning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Comfortable presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with health system dynamics and pharma market structures in India, Southeast Asia or Africa is an advantage
- Strong organisational and communication skills; comfortable managing multiple tasks and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in field environments (tier 2 and below markets)
- Self-starter who enjoys solving operational challenges and learning by doing
