Manufacturing Solutions Architect Industry 4.0

As a Manufacturing Solutions Architect in Ascentt, you will play a crucial role in leading clients through their digital transformation journey, focusing on bridging OT and IT and implementing Industry 4.0 solutions in automotive and discrete manufacturing environments. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing MES, IIoT, and digital transformation architectures, collaborating with clients to identify improvement opportunities, integrating automation and enterprise systems, and ensuring seamless data flow from the shop floor to the cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions supporting various manufacturing functions such as OEE, scheduling, quality management, and energy management. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing data architecture solutions, managing vendor relationships, providing technical leadership to project teams, and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing automation, MES, and digital transformation. Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, hands-on experience with IIoT/MES platforms, familiarity with automation tech stack, and proficiency in programming/scripting languages are essential qualifications. Additionally, experience with cloud platforms, databases, OT/IT integration, modular/microservices architecture, API management, data modeling, and real-time data streaming architectures are desired skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in MES/SCADA system design, exposure to automotive manufacturing environments, knowledge of standards and frameworks such as ISA-95, agile methodologies, and relevant certifications. Soft skills such as problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, stakeholder management skills, and the capability to translate technical solutions into business value are also important for this role.
