Manufacturing Head

Role

• Provide Leadership to Transmitter Manaufacturing Team to acheive deliverables in synergisation with meeting Product Ops Goals
• Plan production for the month / week / day to ensure meeting customer requirement of delivery, Scheduling & leveling of the Transmitter line for optimum production and productivity.
• Continuous productivity improvement by undertaking initiatives like KAIZEN, VSM, etc. inculcate the culture of continuos improvement
• Continuously maintain , Monitor and enhance the Skillls of the Team memebers. Develop multiskills by monitoring with skills matrix
• Ensure Quality culture in the team and achieve ZERO DEFECT Manufacturing.
• Maintain the healthiness of manufacturing equipments with regular preventive manitenance and spares parts management.
• Develop DASHBOARD & montior on time calibration of TMI
• Undertake developments of tools, Jigs, Fixtures for productivity & safety enhancement in manufacturing.
• Maintain manufacturing DASHBOARD for monitoring manufacturing performance
• ensure ON time MFG with 100% PTR.
• Effectively Drive Digitization Projects to improve efficiency, monitoring and reachability.
• Ensure to meet Compliance requirement for MFG line as per approval agencies requirements

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring total compliance to company policies & guidelines and YHQ/YMG guidelines for the Local Modifications facility.
• Meeting Trx MFG Goals of Qty, Cost, Delivery with continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency and skils of the Team
• Plan production for the month / week / day to ensure meeting customer requirement of delivery and scheduling & leveling of line for optimum production.
• Mentoring & Coaching Team memebers with New tools & techniques of the future manufacturing
• Plan for the improvement programmes, implement them as per plan and follow PDCA cycle for achieving desired results
• Drive KAIZEN, QCC, NYPS, Industry4.0 Projects in the Team for continuous improvements in manufcaturing Process.
• Accurate Parts planning using forecasting tools to shorten customer lead times with optimal inventory below Tagetted Levels.
• Maintain Dynamic KANBAN for accurate forecasting. KANBAN to be periodically adjusted based on Damand/consumption & lead time.
• Develop competencies within Team for Manufacturing Engineering Activities
• Pusue & implement New project for Manufacturing enhancements by adding new options, New Products.
• Drive process corrections to eliminate all in process NG.
• Periodic Management reporting of Manufacturing performance parameters.
