Job Description

Work Location: Peenya

Immediate Joiners Preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Process & Production Engineering

Develop and implement manufacturing processes for aerospace and defence components and assemblies.
Prepare process flow diagrams, work instructions, SOPs, route cards, and operation sheets.
Optimize machining, fabrication, assembly, and special processes (e.g., heat treatment, surface treatment).
Support NPI (New Product Introduction) from prototype to production stage.
Ensure compliance with aerospace and defence standards such as
AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 9001
, and customer-specific requirements.
Participate in FAI (First Article Inspection), PPAP/APQP activities where applicable.
Implement process controls, SPC, PFMEA, and control plans.
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
Design, review, and validate jigs, fixtures, tools, and gauges.
Specify and support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
Coordinate with CNC programmers and maintenance teams.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Analyse production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Improve cycle time, yield, and on-time delivery.

Work closely with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams.
Provide manufacturing input during design reviews (DFM/DFA).
Support vendor development and process qualification for outsourced parts.
Maintain detailed manufacturing records ensuring full traceability as per aerospace and defence requirements.
