Role Overview: You will lead Second Shift operations at a global leader in precision technology, focusing on driving safety, quality, and productivity. Your responsibilities will include aligning operational improvements with business objectives, providing clear leadership to employees, developing their skills, promoting safety protocols, and contributing to resource planning. You will engage and lead the Electro-Mechanical Assembly team, maintain high ethical standards, and ensure seamless operations transition between shifts. Key Responsibilities: - Lead operational improvements aligning with business objectives such as safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory management, and productivity. - Provide clear leadership and direction to employees, fostering a positive work environment. - Develop employee skills in continuous improvement, lean practices, safety, and process adherence. - Actively promote safety protocols, identify risks, and take corrective actions. - Contribute to resource planning, support cost analysis, and utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies for operational efficiency. - Engage and lead the Electro-Mechanical Assembly team, promoting professional growth. - Uphold high ethical standards, ensure policy adherence, and contribute to operational metric updates. - Maintain open communication, work closely with the Plant Manager, and proactively manage production schedules. - Ensure seamless shift transitions and effective communication for continuity of operations. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in production or manufacturing leadership with a strong grasp of Lean Manufacturing principles. - Proven track record in driving positive outcomes through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement. - Strong leadership capabilities fostering teamwork and collaboration. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in building high-performing teams and achieving impactful results. - Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding processes, and related manufacturing operations is a plus.
