Analyse requirements, specifications, and technical documents to create comprehensive test cases.
Design, document, and execute manual test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential quality risks.
Ensure timely execution of test cycles and contribute to release readiness.
Support root cause analysis by reproducing reported issues and providing detailed logs.
Maintain test case repositories and update them as per application changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
Familiarity with defect management and test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps).
Good knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing (preferred).
Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman and Familiarity with automation concepts will be an added advantage to the profile.
