Job Description

Job Title:

Experience:

Manual QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute
manual test cases
, test scenarios, and test data for healthcare applications.
Perform end-to-end testing of
EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, etc.)
.
Validate
US healthcare claims processes
including eligibility, enrollment, claims adjudication, and payments.
Identify, document, and track defects; coordinate with development teams for resolution.
Perform
regression testing, functional testing, and integration testing
.
Review and analyze
business requirements
and
functional specifications
to ensure test coverage.
Participate in test planning and provide QA estimates.
Ensure compliance with
HIPAA standards
and data privacy regulations.

Required Skills:

4+ years of experience in
Manual Testing
.
Hands-on experience with
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
file formats and validation.
Strong understanding of
US healthcare claim lifecycle
and key transaction sets (837, 835, etc.).
Experience in testing
Healthcare payer or provider systems
.
Strong knowledge of
SQL
for backend data validation.
Good understanding of
SDLC, STLC, and defect management tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)
.
Excellent communication skills and strong analytical mindset.

Good to Have:

Exposure to
automation testing
(e.g., Selenium, API testing with Postman).
Knowledge of
Medicare/Medicaid claim workflows
.
Experience with
Agile/Scrum methodologies
.
