Roles and Responsibilities
Client ImpactLead client engagements across a range of industries and problem statementsDevelop analytics strategies and programs for large, regional, and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client valueOwn key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readinessTeam Collaboration & CultureLead team to creative insights and sound business recommendations, and deliver impactful client presentations while growing team members roles and skills Provide analytical and day-to-day project delivery team leadership, and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders including Product and Business Development to scope projects, create relevant solutions for clients, and build the firm's intellectual capitalProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior consultantsQualificationsBasic qualificationsUndergraduate degree with data and analytics experience in business intelligence and/or descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analyticsExperience coaching and managing teams across multiple projectsExperience managing key client relationships Knowledge of business KPIs, financials and organizational leadershipAbility to identify new business development opportunities, and experience drafting proposals and scoping new opportunitiesAnalytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to analyze large amounts of data and synthesize key findings and recommendationsData and analytics experience such as working with data analytics software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS), building, managing, and maintaining database structures, working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needsPreferred qualificationsAdditional data and analytics experience in Hadoop framework and coding using Impala, Hive, or PySparkExperience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firmRelevant industry expertiseMasters degree with relevant specialization such as advanced analytics, big data, or mathematical discipline (not required)
