Manager/Sr Manager-Development Engineer (EE)

Role Overview: River, an electric vehicle company, is looking for a skilled individual to lead the development and industrialization of complex EE modules for their multi-utility scooters. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with EMS partners to develop manufacturing processes for new products to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with the R&D team in optimizing design and DFx activities, addressing technical queries with CMs and PCB manufacturing partners, and standardizing/improving manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for supplier identification, use of special processes, reviewing design data packages, PPAP documentation, and acting as a bridge between internal R&D and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead development and industrialization of complex EE modules - Collaborate with EMS partners for manufacturing processes - Work closely with R&D team for design optimization - Address technical queries with CMs and PCB manufacturing partners - Standardize and improve manufacturing processes - Identify and assess potential suppliers - Utilize special processes like conformal coating, potting, and FIP - Review design data packages and work on corrections - Assist in RCA and troubleshooting of process issues - Prepare documentation like WI/SOP, AICTQ, and SORs - Act as a bridge between internal R&D team and external suppliers Qualification Required: - BE with 8-15 years of experience in a similar domain - Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes - Hands-on experience in gerber review and related tools - Sound understanding of DFX processes (DFM, DFA, DFT) - Experience in product-based organizations or OEMs is a plus - Familiarity with PPAP processes and documentation - Experience in turnkey prototype manufacturing is advantageous - Proficiency in supplier selection, assessment, and management - Strong experience in RCA and process troubleshooting - Knowledge of Hardware product development processes - Good understanding of 8D/CAPA processes - Experience in change management processes - Proficient in PCBA level RCA, schematic reading, and troubleshooting - Experience in ICT, FCT, and EOL testing processes is beneficial,
