Manager - US Tax Entity - 1065 Commercial Tax Services

As an Entity Manager at Citrin Cooperman, you will be responsible for assisting clients with life events for partnerships form 1065 and 1120,1120 S, reviewing U.S. tax returns for C and S corporations, and Partnerships. You will also assist on a variety of tax issues such as REIT Qualification, impact of Tax Reform on passthroughs and other Real Estate clients, and business restructuring. Your role will involve maintaining and developing strong client relationships on various federal and State Tax consulting/compliance engagements, reviewing Federal and State income tax returns, managing engagement workflow and team resources, as well as mentoring and developing junior team members. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct tax research independently, train the staff, supervise their progress, and build working relationships with peers, supervisors, and U.S. colleagues. Qualifications required for this position include the ability to conduct independent tax research, excellent communication skills, fluency in English (written and spoken), willingness to learn new tax software, quick learning ability, positive demeanor, and teamwork skills. You should be prepared to work long hours during busy season times, meet deadlines, and efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously. Your experience should include detail review of tax returns, knowledge of CCh Axcess Tax, Gofile room, Case ware, and more than 7+ years of relevant experience with a focus on the 1065 Real Estate Industry. You should hold qualifications such as being a Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), or IRS Enrolled Agent.
