Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tekla Design Manager with strong expertise in ASIC standards and Structural Steel Detailing. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge across Main Steel, Miscellaneous Steel, and Stairs, with hands-on experience in modeling, detailing, estimation, and checking. This role involves leading a team, ensuring quality deliverables, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Study and interpret structural drawings to understand project scope and requirements.

* Plan, allocate, and monitor work assignments to ensure timely project delivery.

* Coordinate with the design team to maintain high-quality standards and reduce errors.

* Mentor, train, and upskill team members to improve productivity and technical expertise.

* Lead client communications for RFIs, clarifications, and project updates.

* Oversee modeling, detailing, estimation, and checking processes as per ASIC standards.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and implement best practices.

* Track project schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in Tekla Structures with ASIC standards.

* Strong expertise in Structural Steel Detailing — including Main Steel, Miscellaneous Steel, and Stairs.

* Proven experience in estimation, quality checking, and project coordination.

* Strong leadership and team management skills with mentoring experience.

* Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions.

* Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple complex projects independently.

Preferred Attributes

* Ability to manage complex structural steel projects end-to-end.

* Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.

* Knowledge of quality assurance and workflow optimization in steel detailing projects.
