Manager, Tax Accounting

Job Description: As a Tax Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple process workstreams within the Tax Accounting Center of Excellence. Your role will involve conducting trial balance analysis, tax provisioning, CIT return preparation, local tax audit support, and integration planning and execution. You will need to take a hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuously strive for process improvement. Your ability to identify and assess tax accounting-related risks will be crucial as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective mitigation strategies. Through your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will articulate complex tax and accounting concepts across the organization, influence decision-making, and drive alignment. Additionally, you will play a key role in proactively resolving potential conflicts between Controllership and Tax functions to ensure cohesive and efficient execution of business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead multiple process workstreams including explorations, gap analysis, integration planning, execution, and problem solving - Identify finance-related risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate them - Discuss finance and accounting concepts with stakeholders across the organization - Drive execution of plans and influence decision-making through strong interpersonal skills - Proactively engage, evaluate, and resolve conflicts between various Finance and non-Finance functions - Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously - Collaborate with workstream leads and subject matter experts to develop risk-based approaches for tactical execution steps - Utilize local GAAP trial balances and tax provision templates for calculating the local tax provision charge Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience Additional Details: The company is committed to diversity and inclusion, and values the well-being and development of its employees.
