Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:
Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage project timelines effectively. Exposure in NPD is preferred.
Specification & Engineering Drawings Review
: Analyze technical specifications, Bill of Material and product drawings for accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve discrepancies before discussion with suppliers.
Strategic Sourcing:
Identify and develop suppliers for critical components and materials. Negotiate contracts and ensure cost optimization without compromising quality. Execute NDA with suppliers and place purchase orders/LOI through SAP.
Process Improvement
: Implement best practices in project execution and supply chain management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost reduction.

Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, Supplier management and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Hands on experience in SAP for Purchase order creation, BOM managements, Run costing

Preferred Attributes

Exposure to Medical devices/Precision/Automobile engineering industry.
Exposure in Casting/Forging/Molding/Plastic part / Instrument sourcing .
Experience in vendor development, global sourcing, and external manufacturing oversight.
Leadership qualities with a strategic mindset.
