Role Summary

KEY DELIVERABLES (Define/outline primary responsibilities)

• Carries out day to day pricing, controls & master data management to achieve timely & flawless Pricing

execution

• Maintain a high level of data quality in all systems.
• Assists in testing of business continuity & disaster recovery plans.
• Proactively supports the implementation of new projects, initiatives or best practices for pricing

operations.

• Assists with pricing systems upgrades as required to ensure that they are implemented in a controlled

manner.

Pricing

• Where required, ensures that accurate price inputs are done in SAP, in line with proper approved

request and on a timely basis.

• Communicates prices to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintains sufficient knowledge of other countries pricing operations in order to effectively assist during

peak times and holidays.

Systems

• Responsible for escalation of system issues to Support organisation and for notification to Price Master

Data Supervisor

• Execute Sytem Admin requests
• Enters/updates cases in iRamp and works together with PTA/ Sales to have the cases released in iRamp.

Data Maintenance

• Responsible for daily Pricing system interface checks & resolving any issues that may arise.
• Responsible for the accurate & timely upload of bulk price data into pricing systems where required.
• Responsible for cost component information updates in Pricing system.
• Responsible for the timely resolution of Pricing queries from Sales or CSD.

Operational Controls

• Assists in the implementation of operational controls & in closing out any arising issues.
• Carries out operational controls on daily, monthly, yearly and ad-hoc basis.
• Provides assistance as required during Unit Internal Assessments, Internal Audits and other control

related reviews.

General

• Maintains appropriate records for audit purposes & archives documents in line with agreed processes.
• Assists as required with management of peak period in the Fuels Pricing Operations team - workload and

holiday cover.

• Assists with the training of new Fuels Pricing Operations Team members as required.

• Manages incoming communication into Fuels Pricing Operations (telephones calls, e-forms, faxes, e-

mails). Carries out any action required or passes task on to relevant member of the team.

• Supports preparation of submissions into Government price investigations where applicable as required.
