Manager – Steel Melting Shop (SMS) & Furnace Operations

Designation: Manager – Production & Operations
Minimum Experience: 10 Years
Location: — Sherophuli , Delhi Road

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations across multiple production units
• Oversee functioning of:
• Band Saw Machines
• Machine Shop (Lathe, VTL, Milling, etc.)
• Hammer Forging Units
• EAF (Electric Arc Furnace)
• IF (Induction Furnace)
• LRF (Ladle Refining Furnace)
• Reheating Furnace
• Heat Treatment Furnaces
• Ensure production planning, scheduling, and target achievement
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance coordination
• Ensure safety standards and compliance in all work areas
• Maintain quality parameters and support QA/maintenance teams
• Train, supervise, and monitor staff performance
• Perform root-cause analysis for operational issues
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in steel, forging, furnace, or machine shop industry
• Strong expertise in furnace operations (EAF/IF/LRF/Heat Treatment)
• Leadership experience with ability to manage multiple teams
• Good analytical and decision-making capability
• Strong understanding of production processes & safety protocols
