Manager/ Sr. Mgr. - Mechanical Maint.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Sound knowledge of sheet metal tools (progressive) and zinc die casting process
• Basic knowledge of plating and paint technology
• Operation and maintenance experience on VMC, CNC turning machines, and power press machines (15 to 25 Ton capacity)
• Experience with heat chamber machines
• Skilled in breakdown and preventive maintenance of machine shop, assembly shop, and heat treatment areas
• Creating and executing preventive maintenance schedules and maintaining daily/monthly breakdown reports
• Arranging and managing spare parts for servicing and maintenance
• Troubleshooting of CNC, VMC, and HMC machines
• Updating and maintaining service and maintenance reports and records
• Coordination with multiple departments to meet customer and company schedule milestones
• Planning and executing resources (manpower, machines, materials) efficiently
• Leading internal meetings for new projects and reviewing progress
• Responsible for the installation of new machines
• Experience in manpower handling, shift scheduling, and addressing day-to-day operational issues
• Overseeing machine shop, logistics, utility, service, and maintenance activities
• Documentation of daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
• Coordinating with stores and dispatch departments for smooth material flow
• Participating in autonomous maintenance and continuous improvement in maintenance processes
• Service & maintenance of machines from brands such as Mazak, Haas, AMS, Doosan, Parisudh, Mori Seiki, Jyoti, Marshal, Kirloskar, HMT, LMW
• Troubleshooting of utility machines such as DG sets, compressors, substations, power factor units, UPS, stabilizers, ETP & STP plants, chiller plants
• Maintenance of paint shop, shot blasting machines, degreasing machines, buffing machines, grinding machines, jib cranes, auto gantry systems
• Maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and power-operated machines
• Providing engineering support to production and maintenance teams for maximum uptime
• Performing engineering analysis to minimize downtimes
• Handling major repair tasks like spindle bearing changes, ball screw replacements, seal replacements, and hydraulic system servicing
• Attending major breakdowns across HPDC, utilities, ETP plants, paint shops, and machine shops
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting to reduce machine downtime
• Focused efforts on energy conservation and cost-saving in maintenance
• Responsible for spares management and cost-effective repair operations
• Participation in new heat treatment installations
• Ensuring documentation compliance as per TS 16949 standards
