Job Description

  • Responsible for all service issues related to Sales development.
  • Responsible for full utilisation of slots and achievement of Sales and Revenue targets.
  • Giving advance information about expected bookings.
  • Ensure / Control bookings within weight Allocations on Vessel to Vessel.
  • Formulating pricing policies within Principal parameters and disseminating information to regions / locations.
  • Compile and monitor approved company sales budgets, marketing Plans for different Trade Lanes/ Services.
  • Report to principals on budget performance / variance through weekly bookings.
  • Reporting to Principals on trade development and competition activities.
  • Proposing service pattern improvements / schedule changes.
  • Provide routing guidelines to locations for optimum and faster routing.
  • Expansion of the customer spread and new customer creation.
  • Analyze the performance after each sailing with the executives and take appropriate actions.
  • Credit evaluation of customers.
  • Keep updated on competition activities and details.
  • Business promotion with existing customers.
  • Generate nominations and Import Leads.
  • Service contract renewals.
  • Liaise with Logistics on availability of containers.
  • Recommend and implement Sales promotion initiatives.
