Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the indirect taxation (IDT) compliance activities of the group entities, and assisting IDT Regional Head for compliance for the manufacturing units and yards assigned to this position.
Responsible for maintaining proper relation with the government authorities, timely replying the queries from authorities and handling assessment/ audit related to IDT Compliance.
Responsible for assisting all the litigations related to Indirect Taxation i.e. GST & Customs as well as old litigations on Central Excise, Service Tax, Sales Tax/ VAT/ CST, Entry Tax, Commercial Taxes etc.
Assisting for procedural arrangements/ working and documentation for IPR benefits.
Review ITC reconciliation/ cash benefits to ensure no financial loss to company, including reviewing & planning on idle ITC.
Review ITC eligibility and taking action.
RCM compliance review and fund planning.
Reviewing turnover reconciliation and lead role for filing GSTR-9/9C for the locations/ GST Registrations assigned to this position.
Responsible for Audit/ Investigation at locations.
Reviewing inward/ outward e-way-bill reconciliation/ cancellation Implementation of Corporate Technical Team guidelines uniformly across the locations in the Region .
Review business transactions and discussion with business team for any change in process for the interest of compliance.
Any other assignment as decided by Management
