Job Description

Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering collaboration, innovation, growth, and technical excellence while promoting continuous learning and career development.
Drive technical strategy and oversee the development of scalable, high-performance mobile and connected device applications for WBD Sports applications.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to align engineering, product, and business teams for data-driven decision-making and streamlined product development.
Lead efforts to improve engineering workflows, tooling, and processes for operational excellence.
Implement and advocate for agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) and support continuous delivery practices.
Drive initiatives around monitoring application health, infrastructure, and code performance to ensure system reliability and optimal user experiences.
Drive innovation by adopting modern technologies, optimizing architecture, and ensuring long-term maintainability through code reviews and refactoring.
Actively participate in event planning and execution, including rehearsals and live event support.

What to Bring :

Experience leading teams in fast-paced and complex environments
B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience
13-15 years of software development experience, including 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
Experience in web development, including experience with React-based applications
Knowledge of SEO principles and optimization of SEO performance metrics
Experience with high-performance, high-availability, high-scale applications in production environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineers to meet ambitious technical goals.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams.
Fluency in English
