Manager - Software Engineering

Key Skills: Java, NMS, GCP, AWS Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of engineers specializing in Java, Golang, and Python to deliver high-quality cloud services and distributed systems. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design. Oversee the entire development process, including planning, execution, and delivery of cloud services and event-driven applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features. Implement and maintain agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project management. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the most current and effective tools and practices. Manage the deployment process, ensuring smooth and timely releases of cloud services. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during development and deployment. Oversee performance management, ensuring that team members are meeting their goals and contributing to the success of the organization. Skills Required: Proven experience in managing a team of engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment. Strong hands-on technical expertise in Java, Golang, and Python. Experience with building internet-scale cloud services, distributed systems, and event-driven applications. Experience with both AWS and GCP, with a preference for GCP. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
