Job Description

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing WhatsApp marketing campaigns to engage our audience, promote our products/services, and drive conversions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic WhatsApp marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing goals. - Create compelling content for WhatsApp messages, including promotional offers, product announcements, and customer engagement initiatives. - Manage and grow our WhatsApp subscriber list through various acquisition strategies. - Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize future campaigns. - Collaborate with the design team to create engaging visuals for WhatsApp messages. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in WhatsApp marketing. - Respond to customer inquiries and feedback via WhatsApp in a timely manner. - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and messaging policies. Managerial Key Result Areas (KRAs): - Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media executives, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Strategy Development: Design and execute data-driven social media strategies to improve engagement and brand visibility. - Performance Tracking & Reporting: Set KPIs, monitor analytics, and provide insights to improve campaign effectiveness. - Budget Management: Oversee social media marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective campaign execution. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, designers, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding. - Crisis Management: Address and resolve social media-related crises, ensuring brand reputation is maintained. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on messaging apps or social media. - Strong understanding of WhatsApp as a marketing tool and its features. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: - Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software. - Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). - Knowledge of messaging automation and chatbot technologies.
