The SOC (Security Operations Center) Team Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SOC team, ensuring the security posture of the organization is maintained and improved. This role requires a strong leader with technical and managerial expertise in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the SOC team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Incident Response: Oversee and coordinate the investigation and response to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation. Monitoring and Analysis: Ensure continuous monitoring of security events and alerts, analyzing data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Threat Intelligence: Manage the integration and utilization of threat intelligence to enhance the SOCs capabilities and improve threat detection. Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on security incidents, trends, and overall security posture. Compliance: Ensure that the SOCs operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve SOC processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a holistic approach to security. Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing SOC operations. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, technical expertise in cybersecurity tools and technologies, and the ability to analyze and respond to security incidents effectively. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SOC operations, threat intelligence, incident response, and compliance requirements.
