As a Supply Chain Manager, your role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain department to achieve overall profitability, service, and quality objectives. Your responsibilities include: - Full responsibility for raw material procurement and cost-effective importing, with knowledge of the market for Imported & Domestic Chemicals. - Handling non-raw material purchasing and assisting in solvents suppliers evaluation. - Supporting local sourcing activities including sample collection and documentation. - Extensive knowledge in handling chemicals like Styrene, fuel oils, glycols, etc. - Implementing centralized purchasing strategies to meet company targets for cost, quality, and service. - Finalizing contracts with Clearing Agencies, Scrap Vendors, Transporters, etc., and tracking supplies against each contract. - Ensuring all purchasing objectives are delivered on time through close cooperation and teamwork. - Compliance with MRP system, ISO, PS, and HSE purchasing portion. - Maintaining a proper filing system for suppliers, orders, and related documents. - Supporting regional and corporate purchasing, evaluating non-raw material purchases, and minimizing business risks. - Providing technical support and market information to other departments. - Advising on indirect taxation related to capital equipment purchases. - Post-evaluation of suppliers, non-conformance follow-up, and corrective action. You should be an Any Graduate or Any Post Graduate with 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Global Sourcing from Chemical & Paint Industries.
