You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain department in order to achieve the overall objectives related to profitability, service, and quality. Your main responsibilities will include: - Taking full responsibility for raw material procurement and cost-effective importing, with knowledge of both the market for imported and domestic chemicals. - Handling non-raw material purchasing and assisting in the evaluation of solvents suppliers. - Supporting local sourcing activities by collecting samples and documentation. - Demonstrating extensive knowledge in handling chemicals like Styrene, fuel oils, glycols, etc. - Implementing centralized purchasing strategies to meet company targets for cost, quality, and service. This includes finalizing contracts with Clearing Agencies, Scrap Vendors, Transporters, etc., and tracking supplies against each contract. - Ensuring that all purchasing objectives are delivered on time and in target through close cooperation and teamwork. - Compliance with MRP system, ISO, PS, and HSE purchasing portion. Planning for purchasing raw material, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining a proper filing system for suppliers, orders, and related documents. - Providing technical support/market information from suppliers to other departments and advising on indirect taxation related to capital equipment purchases. - Supporting regional and corporate purchasing, following up and evaluating non-raw material purchasing, and minimizing business risk through a strict supplier management system and compliance with company processes. - Post-evaluation of suppliers, non-conformance follow-up, and corrective action. The ideal candidate for this position should be an Any Graduate or Any Post Graduate with 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, global sourcing from Chemical & Paint Industries.,
