Job Description

Position Name : Manager - Rolling Mill(Project) Location : Jharkhand Qualification: Diploma/BE/B.tech in Mechanical/ Production/Industrial/ Metallurgy Engineering Experience: 8+ yrs Job Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible to manage the planning, execution, and successful completion of rolling mill projects, including installation, commissioning, and upgrades. The role requires deep technical knowledge of rolling mill operations, project management expertise, and coordination across cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Job Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for rolling mill setup or modernization projects. • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business objectives. • Prepare detailed project execution plans including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment. • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to finalize layout, machinery specifications, and process flows. • Evaluate and approve technical drawings, equipment specifications, and vendor proposals. • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. • Supervise site preparation, equipment erection, and commissioning activities. • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards during execution. • Coordinate with operations teams for seamless handover and startup.
