**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** You have a suitable opportunity in L'Oral India Supply Chain for the position of Manager/Senior Manager - Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of reverse logistics, including improving processes, managing 3PL partners, and overseeing reverse logistics SLAs. Your key skills will involve stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving. The location of the job will be at the L'Oral India Head Office in Mumbai. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintaining and improving operational and departmental efficiencies for both forward and reverse logistics - Driving and optimizing transport performance by enhancing operations strategically, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and utilizing data-driven insights - Overseeing the control tower framework to establish and manage an integrated ecosystem, providing end-to-end visibility, real-time decision-making, and achieving critical operational outcomes aligned with organizational goals - Interfacing cross-functionally with various divisions of the company such as Customer Support, third-party logistics providers, and fulfillment centers - Timely inspection of returns, liability assignment, and follow-ups with transport partners, insurance agencies, and distributors - Managing day-to-day operations of handling returns within SLA - Ensuring up-to-date inventory management and salvaging returns - Driving cost savings with a focus on visibility, variability, and velocity - Providing proactive communications and solutions for distribution issues **Key Deliverables:** - Planning, managing, and evaluating logistics operations in alignment with L'Oral policies, liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers - Delivering solutions to logistics challenges while upholding high levels of quality and service within budgetary constraints - Monitoring quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs - Resolving issues related to execution at distribution centers, customer problems, and transportation challenges - Ensuring inventory accuracy integrity and managing stock movements with the assistance of direct reports - Ensuring all supervised functions operate in compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to safeguard the safety and well-being of staff and visitors **Key Competencies:** - Demonstrated track record of leading and delivering on business initiatives that impact strategic priorities, building teams and capabilities from the ground up - Exceptional interpersonal skills to forge strong relationships across different teams and levels of leadership - Effective communication across a wide range of stakeholders and senior leaders - Flexibility, resiliency, and agility to work in ambiguous areas - Ability to solve complex problems and develop sustainable solutions in collaboration with core supply chain teams **Key Relationships:** - Internally: Various functions like Supply & Distribution Planning teams of different business divisions, Factory & Warehouse Operation Team, Customer Service teams, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, Auditors, Legal, Accounts & Finance teams - Externally: 3PL / DC, Transport Vendors, Consumable Suppliers **Qualification Required:** - Post-Graduation.
