Manager - Retail Credit - Housing - Credit - Belur - Ideal Complex

As an Underwriter for mortgage business at our company, your role will involve reviewing and assessing a variety of loan applications, conducting personal discussions with customers to establish credit worthiness, and ensuring compliance with credit/KYC documents. You will be responsible for maintaining Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS, and other operational MIS reports for the assigned cluster. Building and leveraging effective relationships with third parties to facilitate the best outcomes for clients will be a key part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Review and assess complex loan applications within defined guidelines - Underwrite proposals in accordance with policies to meet SLAs and manage business volumes - Conduct personal discussions with customers and complete credit/KYC verification - Maintain Portfolio MIS, Delinquency MIS, and other operational MIS reports - Build effective relationships with third parties for client outcomes - Provide industry knowledge and experience to resolve client queries - Strive for continuous process improvement and exceed service quality standards - Undertake critical review of credit proposals to identify risks - Ensure collateral and credit risk mitigation for credit proposals - Facilitate quick turnaround time for credit lending proposals - Monitor credit exposures and ensure continued bankability - Facilitate review and documentation of proposals from pre-sanction to post-disbursement phase - Manage credit underwriting function of the branch and liaise with credit analysts and sales team - Follow up and ensure recovery of quick mortality cases Qualifications: - Graduate, Masters/Post Graduate Certifications (Preferable): - CA/MBA Please let me know if you need any further information or clarification.,
