Manager, quality

You will be joining the Quality team at Konecranes, focusing on Quality Management in the manufacturing and service industry. Your responsibilities will include managing Quality at the Distribution Centre, covering Inbound & Supplier quality, NC management, HSEQ Documentation & Audits. Your main duties will involve incoming and supplier end inspections, verification of supplier documents, preparation of QAP/ITP, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and corporate guidelines for HSEQ Systems. You will also be responsible for monitoring internal HSEQ KPIs, Procedures, handling rejection analysis, supplier rating, and providing support to improve supplier quality performance. Other tasks include Quality MIS, material inward and transfer in SAP, and NC Handling. To qualify for this role, you should have a Degree/Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 8 to 10 years of experience in QA/QC/SQA. Essential skills include knowledge of casting, forging, fabrication & machined components, understanding of manufacturing processes and standards, ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, hands-on experience in preparation of QAP, RCA, and 8D. Familiarity with NDT techniques like UT, LPT, RT interpretation, and knowledge of Systems like SAP/Sible are preferred. Experience in the crane industry, material handling systems, or machine manufacturing is a plus, along with knowledge of ISO standards.
