Manager Quality Control- Godrej Process Equipment (Dahej Location)

Throughput contribution

1) Review drawings, QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) and MTO (Material Takeoff) in advance to understand the project requirement

2) Review QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) and ensure on time stage clearance at all levels

3) Ensure compliance to ASME code requirements by conducting actual inspection of raw material and fabrication stages, testing in pressure vessels which are manufactured under reputed Third-Party Inspection (TPI)

4) Ensure compliance to WRENCH, Primavera and BaaN

5) Do inspection of assembly (shell courses, barrels, skirt assembly, tube sheets, nozzles etc.) and testing of coded pressure vessels

6) Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) compliance while carrying out all quality control activities under TPIs and demonstrate the same to clients during assessment audits

7) Ensure resolution of issues and propose solutions with timely implementation of the same with focus on zero delay

8) Prepare and update the inspection formats for actual inspection and QC activities

9) Review vendor report for correctness and completeness

10) Ensure compliance to IMS (Integrated Management Systems) w.r.t inspection and fabrication processes

11) Ensure the coordination with other functions like QA, NDT, Design, Welding, Procurement etc. for all project related execution

12) Develop people and build positive work environment.

Capital Efficiency

1) Ensure that sequences are in concurrence with shop managers feedback

2) Create/Form data base for technical causes of delays & suggest corrective action.

3) Modifications of plans after revisions in drawings

4) Initiate actions for development of fixtures / arrangements ready for use.

5) Maintain estimated versus actual data for man-day-s allocated for all subcontracted components

6) Expedite work at every level to ensure the desired targets

7) Impart/Provide necessary training to the users for primavera implementation

Improvement and Strategic Initiatives

1) Ensure implementation of TPM (Total Productive Management) as per the divisional goal

2) Ensure TPM, Kaizen, Process Automation & Business Excellence targets are achieved

3) Measure and take actions to improve performance of each Welding Department

4) Work towards enhancing technical competencies of team and develop junior colleagues to take up larger roles.
